This is definitely a MUST if you come to Leavenworth. It is unique & historical. But the food is great too! What makes it truly top notch is the service! Every person I have ever encountered in the many times I have been here has been super friendly, welcoming and kind. Don’t miss it!

The best breakfast in the Leavenworth area. Somehow the good folks manage to achieve the Triple Crown of metrics we all look for in a local restaurant: delicious food, substantial portions, and very reasonable prices. The service is always fast and friendly too... So, in fact, it achieves the almost mythical Quadruple Crown!

Had lunch today...delicious as usual, and James was an amazing server! Will definitely be back.

They are one of the best down home cooking restaurants in the Kansas City area and they have the nicest employees working for them they treat you like family even if it is your first time ever going there n you will not be disappointed one bit with the price and the amount of food you get

We had big bike group, had made reservations prior which was good because there was a line waiting for and put us in big private room. We had 20+ and our server James ROCKED it as well as the kitchen. Drinks and food came fast which was delicious. Will definitely be back

Great food and great customer service! I went there a few hours after breakfast however, and a hangover, so I didn't finish much of the food. The food I did finish somewhat finish however was fantastic, a good swiss burger and freshly made potato chips went well together! It was quite nice of them to let us be their last dine in table before close.

This is the spot for lunch. I haven't tried their weekend dinner pickup, but I've been dying to. My go to meal now is the Reubano. My wife goes for the club sandwich every single time. My kids love their French fries. If you are in Leavenworth this place is a must.

Food is delicious. The tenderloin was large enough for 3 and you can opt for chips or fries on the side. My friend had the bacon cheese burger. She said it was delicious as well. Great service. The owner truly cares that you have a good experience. Bathrooms are clean and have emergency supplies if needed. If you’re in Leavenworth, give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

James was one of the best servers I’ve had in a long time; super attentive and great to talk to! And the Rueben was sooooo good, will definitely come back for that.

The food was pretty good. I had some sort of scramble with peppers. They evidently hadn't heard of the pandemic though. Not a single employee wrote a mask, nor were any social distancing measures in place. I got tested for covid19 because of this place. I won't know the results for another day or two. We'll see how it goes.

The Depot is a go-to restaurant in these crazy times and was before as well. Good food and good service. Mary and her family make dining a pleasant and memorable experience, as always. You are a credit to the community and we appreciate it!!

The Depot has always been one of my favourite restaurants. The food and the environment have always been amazing. Today my partner and I were hosted by James, and he made our experience 110% better. Amazing service, wonderful food. Very happy with our experience here today :-)

Came across this great place while staying in Leavenworth. The breakfast was great, James was very personable. Quick service! The food was all home-made, the Restaurant is an cute old railroad Depot. The cinnamon rolls were home-made and delicious! We will definitely be back.

Excellent food and prices, attended a wedding they catered and had to go back for breakfast! Although James is a Jayhawks fan... he was a great server. We will be back for sure.

Great food, reasonable prices, a lot of seating in several large rooms, rustic and clean. Everyone was a pleasure to meet from the hostess to our server, James. We will definitely go back.

Best service, atmosphere, and biscuits & gravy I have tried in town, to date. Food temp. was excellent; I didn't get my mouth burned by searing temps, as at other establishments. Very good value for the price. I am sure they are barely breaking even.

Went with a friend for brunch. The employees treat everyone with a warm smile that you would give a friend. Food came out quickly and was delicious; I ate every bite. I'm generally not a fan of Bloody Mary's but my friend raved about them so much that I tried hers...and then promptly ordered my own.

Looking for a breakfast joint while in Leavenworth?? The Depot is a MUST TRY place!! Located inside of a an old building that architecture lovers would admire! Service was great!! Coffee was top notch for what you usually get at other places. Complementary muffin doughnuts are worth the trip themselves!!! Very friendly staff, prices were fair for the portion size!! Can't wait to go back for an evening meal!

The Depot is an Amazing breakfast, lunch and brunch spot! Hands down the best in town. They accommodate food allergies/requests, such as gluten free, dairy free and even vegan selections. The top priority of the entire staff is a perfect dining experience from start to finish. The bloody Mary's are simple and spot on too! My favorite part of each dining experience is watching the owner, (hardest working, most dedicated woman I have ever seen) running around making sure everyone is happy, comfortable and of course fed properly by her standards. I personally cannot say enough great things about The Depot and the entire staff! I long for the day we can see them without masks on and are able to fill the restaurant again but until then I will continue to visit as frequently as I can!

Rent for breakfast this morning with a group of guys from work. The food is great! We were the first ones in the door when they opened. Things were ready to go! I got a mixed plate with eggs, potato hash browns, sausage gravy and biscuit, corned beef hash. I appreciate it that the gravy was a lot super salty. The corn beef was amazing!! And the hash browns were crispy!I would definitely stop by again

The food would have been great, but I got the iron horse, and it was horrible, the biscuits and gravy (if you could even call it that) had a film on top and was cold, and disgusting, and, also, there were only 4 creamer containers, and, including my family and I, there was 5 of us. I definitely would not recommend eating here.

Stopped here for breakfast after checking out the great reviews!! This place did not disappoint!! Everything was delicious & we had such great service from our waiter Nick! He gave us suggestions & took excellent care of us yesterday! We’ll be back again for breakfast or lunch!

Food is classic american breakfast. Donuts are amazing. Coffee comes by the pitcher. There's usually a wait but plenty of space to sit inside until you can get a table. Unfortunately haven't tried the cinnamon rolls yet because they sell out quickly!

I love this place everytime I visit. There is always someone there with a big smile to greet you when you walk in. They serve the full menu all day. The staff is always so inviting. I have not had a bad waiter/waitress yet. I am horrible with remembering names but the young lady that served us today was fun to joke with. I will continue to come back. I didn't want hash browns with my food so I got fries instead.

Set in a renovated train station, The Depot delivered delicious food and great service. I had thebest Eggs Benedict I've ever had. We'll be back.

Our service was fantastic. The food was good, especially the breakfast. Eggs were cooked exactly as ordered and bacon was delicious. Portions are very generous. We tried the homemade cinnamon rolls with hot tea and were very happy with how many tea selections were offered. The menu has both breakfast and lunch and a lot of variety.

A spacious yet comfortable environment with just a solid menu. The breakfast has a lot of classic options like biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict, but they also have special variations like their smoked chicken hash, etc. I thought our service was superb overall and just highly recommend the depot!

My family and I have been here several times. We LOVE this place. It has a great historic charm as it used to be a train depot. The owners are very sweet and run the place very well. The menu has everything for anyone (including those who are on certain diets like gluten free). The service is amazing! Our favorite server is Sierra. Just be warned, you might get addicted to The Depot's amazing food!!! Overall, this restaurant is a great place to eat at for an early breakfast, brunch, or a lunch. My only critique about this restaurant is that they close at 2 P.M. and at times I wish my family and I could go for dinner there.

I got attracted to this place because of its historic building and the fact they embraced it. Then I got hooked on it for the food. These people would have put Fred Harvey out of business! Corned beef, mojo pork Mac and cheese, chicken fried steak. It's incredible food!

The Depot is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The food was excellent and the service was phenomenal. Our waiter made this experience memorable for our entire family. We are visiting from Michigan and I am so glad we decided to make The Depot one of our stops while we’re here! The owners make you feel part of their family and they go above and beyond to make your visit one you won’t regret! Highly recommend!

Delicious Sausage Gravy!!!! Chicken Fried Steak Decent (Thinnest Piece of Meat). Friendly Staff. Cozy Atmosphere. Free Donut Holes at Beginning (Tasty). Overall a Good Experience, just wish the chicken fried steak was thicker.

This local restaurant in Leavenworth, KS has that home feeling and cozy vibes. The service was awesome and food came fast. The food itself was great, especially their sandwich Reubano. The prices were fair and not expensive. Had a great experience and the vibes was spot on.

Still open and offering take out. I got the corned beef and cabbage, to go. Went back to the hotel, opened it up and had a surprise. Not only were they decent sized portions, the flavor was great. I couldn't rate it higher as I didn't have a chance to really try the service experience.
